Brainstorm:
Work in your study group or by yourself to think about a part of your life that is interesting or important to you.

Write:
1.        Organize the general information you have got from the brainstorming and write a paragraph about a part of your life.
2.         Write your title and a topic sentence. (The title should be interesting and give the main idea of your paragraph.)
3.        Write the first draft. Please pay attention to the usage of the correct verb tense to illustrate events in the past, and to the usage of time words and because to combine sentences into dependent clauses.
4.        Edit your first draft by using the Editing Checklist provided on p73 in your textbook and rewrite your paragraph.
